Confidentiality
Information disclosed during therapy is confidential except for certain limitations:

Where I have reason to believe your life and safety or that of others is threatened.

Where a child is in danger of being harmed or is reported to have been harmed.

Where there is a disclosure of criminal intent.
Ethical Practice / Code of Ethics
I work within the Irish Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (IACP) code of ethics at all times. If I feel that I am not able to provide the care you need, I will communicate clearly with you around any potential referrals for specialist services. Any decisions will be made collaboratively with you.
Frequency and duration of sessions
Sessions last 50 minutes and can take place weekly or fortnightly. Please be aware that if you are late for the session the time cannot be extended past the original time slot, due to other client commitments.
Session Fee and Cancellations
The session fee is €70. Payment can be made by Revolut, credit/debit card, or in cash. Payment for online sessions is required in advance.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations of sessions. Where less than 48 hours’ notice is given on the client’s part, the client will be required to pay 100% of the session cost. Should I need to cancel, I will try to reschedule within the same week and the client will not be charged for the missed session.
